Location: Denver, CO (Downtown)

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (35-hour work week)

Compensation: $85,000-$100,000 annually + Bonus Potential (Non-Exempt)

About the Opportunity

Nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Practice Assistant to join its Denver office. This role will support a team of 4-5 attorneys, including partners and associates, within a high-stakes trial practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished legal professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment, excels at legal document preparation, and takes pride in delivering exceptional support to attorneys and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Litigation & Document Support

  • Draft, format, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, discovery responses, and engagement letters
  • Finalize legal briefs and court filings, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and professional presentation
  • Prepare and format Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities for legal briefs and filings
  • Create, edit, and manage Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Print, scan, copy, organize, and assemble legal documents and binders

Attorney & Practice Support

  • Provide dedicated support to 4-5 attorneys (typically 2-3 partners and 2-3 associates)
  • Maintain attorney calendars, contacts, and scheduling needs
  • Coordinate meetings, interviews, conference calls, and other attorney commitments
  • Track attorney CLE requirements, court admissions, and professional memberships

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and travel itineraries
  • Process expense reports, reimbursements, invoices, and check requests
  • Coordinate client gifts and special client initiatives
  • Provide additional administrative and team support as needed

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of Litigation Legal Assistant experience, preferably in a medium to large law firm environment
  • Demonstrated expertise preparing and formatting Tables of Authorities and Tables of Contents for legal briefs
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills are required
  • Experience with SharePoint and NetDocuments (NetDocs) is a plus
  • Experience supporting multiple litigation attorneys in a fast-paced practice
  • Exceptional document formatting, proofreading, and document production skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality

Work Environment

  • Located in the firm's Downtown Denver office
  • Fully onsite during the first 90 days
  • Eligible for a hybrid schedule of one remote day per week after the first 90 days
